Universal Pricing Portal (UPP)

A quotation tool for the telecommunications indirect channel to easily get quotes for all products. UPP will provide a single interface for aggregating pricing from different providers into a single, flexible format that agents can use.

For Carriers

Carriers will see decreased costs by reducing internal workload and increased business from agents since quoting will be easier and faster. Carriers will be able to authorize the agents that can quote their products in UPP. There will be no cost for carriers to include their products in UPP if they join the project before it launches.

UPP can use an existing pricing API. If an API is unavailable, NDA will implement and update the product pricing in UPP. Carriers will be able to update their own pricing, if desired.

For Agents

Agents will receive the benefit of a single pricing repository; one quotation application for all products. Quotes will be accurately configured and instantly provided. There will be a fee for agents to access the system.

Development is progressing well. NDA and RPM are being assisted by several leading master agents including Intelisys, PSI, Voice Over Communications, and Connectivity Source. The current beta system is generating quotes from six carriers with more in development.

We expect UPP will be available for all RPM Telco subscribers in 2012. We are currently in an invite-only beta period.
